Assignment 09/23

A candidate for public office, a reporter discovers, was put on trial for alleged aggravated robbery almost 15 years ago. He was acquitted. Is this of relevance to the media during the current election? What obligation dos the media have to report such things?


This statement could be very effective to the candidates election.
When people starts to hear about what the reporter has come up with.
People starts checking backgriunds and asking questions. Making things
harder than it was before. The reporter must have got hard evidence to
put something that serious in the paper, knowing it cold ruin the
candidates election.

They were the most famous orphans of the cold war, only 6 and 10 years old in 1953 when their parents were executed at Sing Sing for delivering atomic-bomb secrets to the Soviet Union.


Robert and Michael were famous orphans during the time of the cold war,1953 on behalf of their parents execution at Sing Sing for exchanging secrets to the Soviet union.

What is happening? The sons were trying to get to the truth about their parents death.
What did happen? They found out that their Dad was a spy and he had been doing some spying.
What are the consequences? The death of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg
What is different about this? The brothers kept finding out more and more even know they were not hearing the answers they wanted to hear about their parents.
What are the choices? To have a better life with their children or put them throught what their parents put them through.

A canister of 'Super Magnum Bear Spray' spurred the evacuation of animals and employees from a local veterinary clinic Tuesday.

A new invention of bear pepper-spray was spread throughout a local veterinary clinc Tuesday causing employees and animals to evacuate the building as quickly as possible.

What is happening? The pepper spray for bears was spreading in the buliding and people couldn't brreath or see
What did happen? The spray had got knocked over and opened
What are the consequences? Henry and along with other employee's and animal had to get medicated care.
What is different about this? Nobody makes Bear pepper spray.
What are the choices? To not produce andymore, and if you do then have it in a safe place.

Why did this happen or will it happen? Sanders thought that instead of buying a gun for protection the pepper spray was just as harmful but didn't cost that much.

How did it or will it happen? This happened because the bottle somehow got knocked over
How much does it cost? A couple of hundreds
How many people does this affect? Only the people who were inside the building
How do you feel about this?I tihnk that its good to have something to prevent bears from attacking you but if it effects you as well then why would you want to put yourself in that position. You might as well just let the bear attack you.

What is happening? Palin is talking about how people are sending out the wrong messages for women and how men don't think women could amount to them.
What did happen? She explaining how women are starting to take a stand slowly.
What are the consequences? Women getting trearted unfairly.
What is different about this? She's not as popular and she speaks on behalf of an everyday woman that don't agree with how things are for women.
What are the choices? To start standing up for women or just let men continue to do the job.

When did or will this happen? This have been happening for many years.

Why?
Why did this happen or will it happen? This continues to happen because men don't think that women should be able let alone could do a man's job.

How did it or will it happen? It started a long time go. When people discovered that men were stronger, men started getting better jobs than women.
How much does it cost? This cost women independence.
How many people does this affect? Women all over the world
How do you feel about this? I feel that women should be treated the same as men. Nobody ever thinks that a woman should become president but maybe a woman is exactly what this world needs.

What do you see? I see people's houses destroyed and lost forever.
Describe the pictures in your own words.The pictures of Hurricane Ike is basically sad. You can just look at it and think about how the people who live there feel. They have to start a whole new life. The picrtures aren't saying enough. I feel like there's so much more damage beyond the pictures.

How did it or will it happen? It started to happen because Sara made a comment about being in that shelter was like being in jail.

How many people does this affect? This effected Sara and the friend she had to go stay with. It also may effected some of the people that still stay in the shelter.
How do you feel about this? I think that if a person is homeless and needs a place to sleep and eat, then they shouldn't be turned down just for saying a comment.

What is happening? Babies were getting kidnapped.
What did happen? Strangers were taking babies that weren't theirs.
What are the consequences? Parents w/o their child and the child w/o the parents, and some parentts and children end up dead.
What is different about this? Well I thought that kids from 6-11 were on the top of kidnapps, but it came out to be infants are.
What are the choices? To Look for the child or wait and see if the person who took them give them back.

Where did or will this happen? They are usually taken from hospitals, homes, and public areas.
Why?
Why did this happen or will it happen? The people that take them because they can't withhold a child.

How did it or will it happen? They get close to the family and act like their a nurse or doctor.
How much does it cost? Basically stocking the family.
How many people does this affect? A whole family and the child tooken.
How do you feel about this? I think that its sick. Its so wrong to just steal someone's baby like that, and I knoe that its a tragic to the parents. I learned that when ever i get pregnant to look out for those kind of people.
